China successfully launches Tianlong-2 Yao-1 carrier rocket

At 16:48 on April 2, 2023, Beijing time, the Tianlong-2 Yaoyi launch vehicle successfully made its maiden flight at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in China, sending the Love Space Science satellite into its scheduled orbit. , the launch mission was a complete success. The main purpose of this first flight test is to verify the correctness of the overall plan of the launch vehicle and the coordination among various systems, and to obtain the flight environment parameters of the whole rocket. The Love Space Science satellite carried on board is mainly used to carry out technical verification such as remote sensing imaging experiments.

The mission is the first flight of the Tianlong-2 launch vehicle.

The first flight of the Tianlong-2 carrier rocket successfully created seven new records in international and domestic spaceflight:

The world’s first private space vehicle liquid launch vehicle successfully entered orbit for the first time;

The world’s first launch vehicle using coal-based aerospace kerosene for flight;

China’s first liquid launch vehicle that does not rely on a launch station;

China’s first launch vehicle using 3D printed high-pressure afterburning rocket engines;

China’s first launch vehicle using three-engine parallel engine technology;

China’s first launch vehicle that uses an all-aluminum alloy surface tension tank attitude and orbit control system;

China’s first launch vehicle that realizes the reuse of rocket body structure.

China is the only country in the world that has mastered and industrialized coal-based aerospace kerosene. The successful flight of Tianlong-2 laid the foundation for its subsequent delivery of the country’s Long March 5, Long March 7 and other new-generation launch vehicles.
